New XBox One Bundle Has $90 Worth Of Free Stuff

by on 07/20/2015

Microsoft announced a new XBox One bundle today that sounds like an even better deal than the Halo: Master Chief Collection bundle — that is, if you don’t care about Halo.
The bundle will be based around the upcoming release of Madden 16 and will contain a code for a digital copy of the latest in the sports franchise. In addition, you’ll get a free yearlong subscription to EA Access, which is a service that grants you unlimited access to every game EA makes for XBox One. This includes Battlefield 4 and Titanfall, so that’s several games for the price of one.
Of course, you’ll also get the extra storage space of the 1 TB model (introduced last month) as well as the new controller the model comes with, which adds a headphone jack (it is not, however, the crazy-expensive super-customizable one Microsoft showed off at E3, so don’t make that mistake).
The new bundle will launch on August 18, a week before Madden 16 will officially be sold. If you haven’t guessed, the digital code will hold off on letting you play the game until August 25. But you can pre-download it.
