Norman Reedus Thanks Fans With Fan-Art Book
One of the reasons that Norman Reedus has earned such a rabid fandom as The Walking Dead’s Daryl Dixon is that he seems to genuinely enjoy and appreciate the support. Reedus has now created a physical token of that appreciation, a new book featuring art sent to him by fans.
Thanks For All the Niceness collects art featuring Daryl or Norman sent in from around the world. Reedus describes it this way on the book’s official site:
Thanks For All The Niceness is Norman’s way to show his gratitude in a compilation of artwork made by his fans. The Norman/Daryl archetype is created in tattoo designs, cakes, pencil sketches, mosaics and more. Norman selected over 100 fascinating pieces that appear in this beautifully designed book. It’s real art made by real people for real people.
Reedus received more than 3,000 art submissions in just about every imaginable media for the book, and winnowed it down to 100 pieces like the one below.
“A significant” part of the proceeds from the book go to The Bachmann Strauss Dystonia and Parkinson Foundation.
Thanks for All the Niceness will be out Oct. 31. You can find out more about the book and pre-order here.
