The 1 TB XBox One Is A Reality
A few days ago an image of a new controller for the XBox One was leaked out that showed a headphone jack on its bottom. We figured the controller would be announced at E3, and it apparently will, but it’s part of a larger package. Amazon “broke street date,” as it were, and listed a new model of the XBox One ahead of Microsoft’s presentation. It not only includes the new controller, it has a 1 TB hard drive inside.
Here’s the official description as posted on the product page:
There’s only one place to play the best exclusives and biggest blockbusters this year, like Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Forza Motorsport 6. Experience the most advanced multiplayer on Xbox Live, powered by hundreds of thousands of servers that maximize performance while reducing lag and cheating. And quickly switch back-and-forth between games, live TV, and apps. Now includes a 1 TB hard drive for storing games and media, a controller with a 3.5 mm headset jack, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the definitive Halo experience on Xbox One. Play through The Master Chief’s entire story with Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary, newly remastered Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4.
The new console model will cost $400 and come with a digital code to download Halo: The Master Chief Collection, just as the leak suggested days ago. The console is still up on Amazon, but not purchasable or preorderable yet. We’ll have to just wait a few days for Microsoft to “officially” announce the thing.
