Titanfall: Frontline Brings The Franchise To Card-Space

by on 09/12/2016

You can take Titanfall on the go this fall, though not really in the manner you’d expect. The titan-focused FPS has been adapted into a digital card game that can be played for free in Titanfall: Frontline, developed by Korean app developer Nexon.

Collect and upgrade hundreds of Pilots, Titans and burn cards as you put together an unbeatable team to take control of the Frontline and destroy your opponent. Combine your Pilots and Titans to deal extra damage or place your Titans in auto-mode to provide cover as your Pilot attacks the target. With hundreds of cards and combinations at your command, you can play the battle your way and defeat your rival Commanders!

It may look like every other card-based FtP app out there, but what differentiates Titanfall: Frontline is this: the card battles occur in real time. You’ve got some time to think up a strategy for how to take down the enemy with your cards, but not enough to dawdle. They will attack you back if you take too long!
Titanfall: Frontline launches on iOS and Android later this year, and it won’t be alone for long. Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment is working with Nexon to bring other Titanfall-related apps to the market.
