I give it a 9.5. It can't always be walkers attacking. To see power tripping in military and selection of the fittest? Realistic and possible even in today's society.

So far this is my favorite episode. I thought the execution of continuing our gradual understanding of the characters along with the degree of tension was spot on. At this point in time my favorite characters are Nick, Maddie and Daniel, and LMA (Alicia) is moving up on my list.

I am really looking forward to the next two episodes and my expectations are high. I am going to give this episode a 9.5

He was better in this episode I give him that. But for me, he still has a bit to climb in order to move me past my initial reaction to his character. And as much as I have complained about him, I should also add that I am glad that we have characters that will require a degree of redemption or that they will have to earn a spot on our favorite character list. Makes for interesting dynamics

He did a good job with his voice over at the beginning.

I was surprised they had Chris do the voice over. Would have figured it would be Alicia. I assume that might be an indication that Chris will be killed off by the end of the year as lots of times these stories gives characters a swan song before they go off the show.

In anycase I liked last weeks episode a little better. I was slightly dissapointed that they didn't show the military trying to go into the city and just kept the focus on the characters in the camp (completely understandable and realistic but I thought by the way last episode ended we would see some battles).

In anycase the last ten minutes definitely bumped it up a notch and really set these characters up for the individuals they will become in season 2.

I give this episode an 8.

5.5... Half way thru the episode my friend who I watch the show with started snoring so loud it was hard to hear... Very boring episode.. I will say the last 2 minutes were pretty good.

This was probably my least favorite episode of the season so far. The best part was definitely when that hot guy said, "Get your shit together, Grimes". Next week's episode looks promising though.

That was a man that said that? I thought someone taught a Dodo bird how to talk.

I'll say 8 for now. Very slow but enjoyable overall, especially the last couple of minutes.
Is it just me, though, or did the soldier playing golf remind anyone else of the Governor (or was it Martinez? I'm not sure)?

That seems to be kind of a inside joke or something of Kirkman's where the guy in charge is shown hitting golf balls. Governor did it in season 3, Martinez did it in season 4, and now that guy did it in this episode.

Funny but looking at the different reviews for this episode around the web and they all seem to be pretty positive (where as I thought this was the worst one of the four episodes so far). Guess that goes to show that the majority of people who watch the Walking Dead want to see that apocalypse setting above all else.
