I think Morgan mentions something about walkers being drawn to light, in Days Gone Bye, then says it's noise that really gets them riled up. He and Duane have the windows covered up- Morgan cautions Rick not to move the blankets, too much.

For, Beside the Dying Fire, maybe the lure of the folks on the farm was more of a draw, than the barn?

 

I'm a massive ridiculous Carl fan, so I absolutely loved this episode. One of my two or three all time favorites. However, I'm not above admitting that when faced with Sam, and Carl fired two shots into the ceiling, I died a little on the inside.

 

I can believe that happened with the barn fire, but I think the writers went too far when they put Michonne in the middle of a pack of walkers and expected viewers to believe they wouldn't notice her.

 

I get what you're saying. I just try and enjoy the show for what it is.
