Man, Andrew Lincoln is perfect for Rick Mother-F**king Grimes. It becomes more apparent as time goes on haha. I'm excited for the next episode.

ok, so since it looks like everyone in this thread has read the comics and think of Andy Lincoln and the current TV Ricky Grimes as a complete bad ass, is anyone else really not looking forward to him becoming the latest version of himself in the most recent comics?

I keep wondering which aspects they're gonna take from the comic version and which ones they're gonna leave behind/ change. I def can't see Andrew Lincoln with a shaved head nor imagine him missing an arm. Even in the comics I was shocked that they just keep taking body parts off of this leader and he's still so bad ass. Not really sure how well that'll translate to the tv series tbh.

I love the current Rick. I think he's more intimidating than ever.

 

The machete is just a lame tv replacement for comic Ricks glorious hatchet. Which he is still wielding with the utmost ferocity, might I add.

 

They're all turning into who they need to be with some exceptions. Daryl is becoming too nice, which may get him killed off, Abraham is having a pity party, Maggie is checking out Eugene's moaning without checking to see if he's a walker, Rick is trying to make deals AGAIN, and we saw how that's turned out in the past, and Sasha is becoming quite the badass, I just can't believe she fell for that cops, poor pity me lines. Those were my only disappointments, I'm just waiting for next weeks promised "big- boom, kill off episode" to see who dies. I'm hoping it's not Carol, whenever they build up a character like that, it usually means the end for them, and Melissa is such a wonderful actress. Every expression on her face is so believable.
