This isn't University Literature 101, it's entertainment. It's a story. Any reasonable folk, and true fans of the TWD series, would not be trashing the show and it's 'writers'. There is no credibility issue here, maybe you should go write your own show?

 

Stand down, Sparky. I've offered up plenty of praise over the years. I happen to believe it does affect their credibility: to tell a story without gimmicks that don't work. But I'd be happy to write my own show if you bankroll it. Tara and I go on multiple runs and then relax with back rubs. I think it'll be a hit. I'd be very credible.

 

If you think the show is so gimmicky, why not just stop watching it? You're a legend in your own mind.
