Jessie, Ron, Alpha Wolf, and the Azzholes, not so much.

 

Nicotero made an interesting point on TDD: Sam was Jessie's Achilles' Heel. She should have insisted he go with Gabe. (Easy for me to say, right?) I think he was her favorite child--sweet and trusting. (I'm picturing Ron as prickly even as a kid, and more connected to his father.) So to watch him die, and in such a horrific way--there was no living for her after that. It would have been interesting to see how she would have reacted to Ron being killed in front of her. I thought it was telling that in the show, she just let herself be taken--her look as she was being bitten was just resigned, and she never took her eyes off of Sam. That made it curious for me that she wouldn't let go of Carl's hand. I know that in the comics she pleads with Rick not to leave them, but there was none of that here. Given last night's response, I would have expected her to literally drop all human connection.

 

RIP Sam. . .really sorry to see you go. I so enjoyed most of the interaction between you and Carol.

 

RIP sam & the wolf guy. I honestly thought to myself this guy is changing.

 

If Baldy started shooting he'd take out his own leader first - well, unless he was as good a shot as Abe and Sasha.
