I'm really pissed off. That Scott Gimple is an ass. the ending sucks.

 

The Talking Dead feels flat tonight.

 

Pile of garbage. I wanted to think they didn't duck us over like this and they did. I can't say I'll never watch again, but I lost so much respect for the show tonight.

 

Agreed. The vibe I get is that Hardwick and Reedus both probably hated the ending, but they have to put forward a smiling face for the company.

 

Yep. I even think Gime and Kirkam realize they messed up. They are talking defensive like they know the fan base just erupted

I felt they contradicted it They said in a comic you bring you something big to keep people reading past the 100th issue, and you don't have to do that so much with TV...... THEN WHY CLIFFHANGER!!!!

Sorry but knowing who died, especially if it was a big character, would have caused shockwaves!

Now we're just chat here till October waiting for Aaron's death to be confirmed. I'm sure he's the only one they probably have the balls to kill.

Didn't finsh the talking dead because it REALLY is flat tonight! I'm super pissed I felt like everyone in world just got Lucilled.

 

This seems to be a really dirty move by Gimple but if you keep up enough and pay attention the hints are undeniable. So much so that I feel I need to use a spoiler warning. As Robert Kirkman said on talking dead there are hints.

 

Let's hope season 7 doesn't start like season 4 did, several months later...

 

I'd bet on Abraham. The send off with Eugene may have actually been for Abe. Negan also made the comment "taking it like a champ" which would lead me to him as well.

They did the cliffhanger thing to give themselves a chance to change their minds.

 

I think they made the right decision. They needed buzz and suspense for killing this particular character. If they did it up front I think more people would be upset. Ultimately I feel we did see it anyway. The hints are not there for any other character save for one but only if you factor in a few episodes back. Still it seems unlikely. I just feel its who I said it was before for the reasons listed.

 

Agree with everyone saying TTD was flat. Could Hardwick be any more of a sycophant? "A lot of people are saying it's a stunt, and they're all upset, but I saw it as [insert apologia bullshit here]." And yeah, I think Gimple and Kirkman got their first taste of how the next few months are gonna go. Both were defensive and kinda prickly about the issue.

 

Well it's not Glen. They be silly now to wait six months to give us the original death from the comics.

 

But Negan said to feed Carl's eye to his father if he acted up. He wouldn't feed an eye to a guy getting beaten... Although I guess it could be Carl.

 

I wonder if Chris' slip up at the end about finding out in the summer.....erm...I mean the fall. Was a nod that they cant keep it quiet.
