I think I will enjoy it more when Alicia, Nick and Luciana come back on to the scene

BUT I still miss Troy!!

 

I gave it a 9. I really liked it and almost went 10, but I would have liked a little more from Oceanside than a few molotov cocktails. I think it's funny that people who hate when the show deviates from the comics wanted to see Negan killed off when the comics kept him alive.

 

I initially gave it a 9 but then switched my vote to a 10 because I was still thinking about the episode for a long while after watching it.

The episode wasn’t perfect but it was darn good. Everything up to, and including, the backfiring bullets scene was fantastic. It was somewhat predictable but the delivery was satisfying.

Highlights:
- The conversation between Rick and Siddiq about Carl;
- the interactions within the group before the battle;
- Jesus calming Morgan;
- Eugene comes through;
- JDM’s acting;
- Carol, Ezekiel, Jerry and Henry re-entering the kingdom;
- Fear the Walking Dead converted me to a fan.

Lowlights:
- Negan lives;
- Maggie plots;
- Rick and Michonne’s bedside manner;
- the sunshine and joy at the sanctuary was overdone.

 

Agree. Not that it couldn't be achieved in time, but so quickly was a little weird. These people were not only bent on killing each other just hours before, but both sides have suffered enormous losses of friends & family from the opposing group. Laying down arms and embracing peace, yes..all smiles,planting a garden hand in hand the next day, no.

 

I wonder if they will show us the wives getting back to their own lives. As a matter of decency, they should. It's one thing for the psychopath not to understand that the women were compelled--it's another if the show even inadvertently feeds that fantasy. I liked that earlier they showed the women trying to come up with a plan to murder him, but seeing them actually happy now would be a good thing.

Eugene could bump into them and be happy for their autonomy.

 

They totally trolled me with negan...i thought he was a goner...i was like but wait he's supossed to be ricks prisoner but then again look what they did with Carl so you never know lol
