Actually Adding Friends

    I tried to add a friend. The Problem is they don't see the invite to be my friend that went to them.

    On the forums or on steam? I got a friend request today on the forums so i know it works.

    You mean steam? I dont see how you can send friend requests in game when you just name your characters.

    Describe it more? Or jist send ticket to steam, but they dont care as usually..

    In h1z1 I try to add friends, it acts like I sent them a friend invite, and that they have to accept it, but they don't get a thing to accept

    I think he's talking about the 'squad system'. There is no such thing as adding friends in the game accept for squads.

    You can invite your friend to your squad by using /squad invite (name) and they can accept it by using /squad accept. :)

    My problem is this. I go to play this game with a friend, we only want to play together, one of us dies and then gets whisked off to a random location, we have spent 3 hours tonight meeting up with each other, hardly doing anything and then dieing and being whisked off to another random location.

    You don't, you just invite them to the squad and they're in once they accept :)

    You can type /respawn to try to get a spawn closer to them. Keep doing it until you guys are near each other. This will definitely save you time, good luck mate.

    Do you need to have a house or something to form a squad, I tried squad commands but they don't seem to work

    No you don't, and they do. Just type /squad

    Squad only changes the name of your friend over his or her head. It doesn't prevent you from causing them damage nor finding them on a map since there isn't a map as of yet.

    So... what is the benefit of using /squad then?

    There names green above there head instead of white if I remember right so if your all in a squad and someone runs up on you with white about there head odds are it's not your friend.
