I'm old enough to remember the original MST2K and my friends and I used to watch that show religiously. Some seriously funny stuff.

Original? There only was one show. Two different human hosts, but the same show.

What I meant was that originally it was called 2k, and then they changed it to 3k is what I thought. That version ran in the early 80's whereas the 3k version started in '89 I think.

Anyone ever watch the old Hammer horror films with Christopher Lee as Dracula. The horror movies with the hot looking big bewbied ladies in them from the mid 1960's?????

They were cheesy but were very well made for back in those days.

Yeah I remember he had the red bloodshot eyes as Dracula and starred in those movies with Peter Cushing. When I was a child my late father and I watched all the Hammer films together. I think my dad liked the ladies in these films too.
Christopher Lee was one evil looking Dracula. I was glad to see him make a come back in The Lord Of the Rings movie, I thought he was dead and gone. I hadn't seen him in years.

Dead Alive! was one of the greatest cheezey horror flicks EVER! The gore was exquisite, the dead baby made from the two zombies having sex, the he pushed around in the barbed wire covered baby stroller, and the priest in pajama's fighting zombies in the grave yard w/ martial arts "I kick ass in the name of gawd!" hilarious!

Rubber is another movie that is pure cheeeeeeze! You can't help but love an old tire that can blow up human heads. Most of the movie just has you saying WTF is going on?! followed by laughter.

But there are far too many to mention. Would little shop of horrors (one of my favorite movies) count, or would that be a musical?

Oh yeah, you must mean the days when it was on cable access. Still basically the same show, though.

Yeah that's correct, same show basically. There's some discussion on a MST3K forum about others claiming to recall watching the show pre-3K title, I was recently looking around the web because I'm pretty sure I remember watching this prior to '88-'89 before they added 3K to the title. It may not have been with the 2K in the title because I can't find any solid reference to it so far. But it was the same premise with the host, robots and B sci-fi movies.

Idk, I might be wrong and my memory may be fading due to age. lol

Yeah, Joel Hodgson created the show and it started on KTMA, I believe it was, in Minneapolis. It was always 3000 I believe, though. It was later picked up by Comedy Central(Comedy Channel, at the time), then later picked up by the SciFi channel.

No. This film is so f*ckin' horrid it makes you never want to watch another movie again. The fact that this film has such a huge following is reason enough to nuke the planet.

Lol, I'm pretty sure the reason it's so bad is why it has a huge following. :)

When me and my friends had movie nights, we'd always have to at least skim over this one each time.

Yep, it always had 3000 at the end. Bassman Maybe this can be the thread we had talked about months ago?

Also.....

It could happen. Joel's split was mostly because of Jim Mallon being a total douche.

I would ****ing die happy if this happens. This was and is my favorite show of all time....
