Why is this even a issue?

 

I keep it as a little symbolism of mine, in Sweden we have this expression called "Bita i det sura äpplet" which rougly translates to "bite the sour apple", which is basically means Rick is gonna regret his actions.

I was wondering if it somehow was referring to the apple in the garden of Eden.

 

Let me guess it was uneeded symbolism and totally unnecessary. This has Ron Lambert's fingerprints all over it! We've heard this before in a different catagory on the forum.

Lead us not into temptation. That's the way I saw it too, and Michonne (Eve) takes a bite before handing it to Rick (Adam). Or it could have been a subtle endorsement of Apple computers.

 

I kinda laughed at the apple, interesting way to knock out morning breath. Too bad for Rick it didn't put Michonne in the mood.

 

I wish! But never! Meanwhile i'll rant how Rick is eating Michonne's apple and what not.

Bingo! I took it as Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Big regrets coming for them both because they bought stated they were not going to lose anything at any cost. I gleaned the upcoming cost may be very high and heartbreaking.

 

Eating an apple has the energizing effect of a cup of coffee. I'm guessing coffee grounds may be a delicacy this far into the ZA.

There is no such thing as grocery shopping in the ZA, so this romantic scene is happening somewhere between August and October (apple season). Right? I'm not from GA so maybe someone local can narrow down.

I think the cost will be high too. The apple was the start of (hu)mans' banishment from the Garden of Eden. If Alexandria was the G of E, then that was a terrible sign of things to come.
