NP. I thought I responded about this before. I guess my post got lost in the ether.

Anyway, yes, I knew that the axes weren't right. I just thought it was a bad choice to make an X-Y plot in the first place. A double-bar graph would have been a better choice. Just some geek bravado there on my part.

 

The take away from that was the difference in the slopes of the two lines. Denzel Washington ages but the ages of his leading ladies hardly changed. A double bar graph couldn't have shown that as well IMO. Clear as mud? Cool!

 

This is the kind of graph I was thinking about. Denzel's bars would have kept on rising, and the bars for his leading ladies would not. My real problem with the original graph was the line connecting the dots.

 

Totally agree with you. Personally I think once they are over eighteen it doesn't matter anymore and lets face it in a ZA it's not like there's a lot to pick from; knowing how to survive, how to kill zombies, find shelter and food would all be way higher up the list than age

 

Good points. I don't know if he's necessarily playing an awkward 40 year old virgin though. It's possible he could've had relationships when he was younger but then just became closed off to intimacy after they went bad too. He could've thought that his relationships would turn out as poorly as his family life etc.

But on the flipside we do have that remark Carol made to him in 4A that insinuated that something had been going on with them during the months between Seasons 3B and 4A.

Originally I thought Carol would be the best option overall for Daryl, but since they had the whole Karen thing in there my guess is that he would shy away from her at this stage. I'm also uncertain if Gimple and Co. have a long term plan for Carol or the prison deaths marked the beginning of the end of her story. I really hope that's not the case because it would be a waste to have her die in the next couple of episodes.

With Daryl now with the Bandits group I think there is a possibility that he doesn't make it out of Season 4 either. If I had to bet on it I'd say he lives, but I could see a scenario where he sacrifices himself for the group if Joe and his crew go to Terminus too.
