    1. Hershell without a doubt, as mentioned by several other posters.
    2. Rick, because of his clear devotion to Carl. He is serious about trying to maintain a father/son relationship, even if they have to mow down zombies with automatic weapons.
    3. Maggie got some great screen time and showed us she can do her best to contain the situation on her own.
    4. Sasha & Glenn were real troopers helping Hershell, even though they were half dead. I would seriously tell everyone to peace out and go lay down.
    5. Carl, I just love the change in him. He has a better head on his shoulders, no doubt from his bonding with Rick. He has really matured.

    Hershel deserves the love in this one and Scott Wilson I can't give enough praise for showing so much heart in all his scenes. He's excellent.

    Hershel of course. This was his episode and he made it. Scott Wilson deserves an award for this. So damn bad!

    Hershel without a doubt. I wonder if his role was this big when they cast him or if it grew with his amazing screen presence and ability to work with the other actors so well?

    I really liked Maggie too. I think she made the most of here scenes and portrayed so clearly the exhaustion, fear, and fight for survival that overtakes their lives.

    I thought Lizzie was pretty awesome. Most people would panic and lock themselves in a cell but she led the walker away to save glenn and shes only like 12. So she gets 2nd. HERSCHEL!!!!! Woop woop
