Yep, he lives about an hour away and plays here from time to time.
Rev Payton is playing Nashville this Friday.

One of the beast live performances, I have ever seen, was a Nick Cave concert. That man has so much talent, it's unbelievable.

Yep liked it both times I've seen him. Grinderman though....that was just awful.

Saw the Rolling Stones last year. They were really good.

Grinderman is a bit ...different... if you used to Caves other projects, but it did grow on me, I'm a big Nick Cave fan, he can't do wrong in my book

My biggest regret was seeing Rage Against the Machine and missing out on LCD Soundsystem.
I was and am still kicking myself.

Cant see anything wrong with that. Don't know LCD Soundsystem tbf though.

Just thought of another one back in 2005. Nine Inch Nails open air in Vienna on their With Teeth tour. Certainly one of the best I've seen.

Nah Rage was ok they had some electrical problems but their performance was good. But.
I'm a fan of LCD and they split up shortly afterwards so I shoulda gone see them. They're back together now btw.
    They're definitely worth researching.

I have to do a top 3 - Dead and Company (saw them twice), Passenger (also twice) and of course, The Boss.

NICE!! Have you ever been to The Peach Festival in Scranton, PA? If you're a Dead/Allman Bros. fan you'd most definitely love it. I've been two years in a row, amazing lineups!

No! Oh, I've missed that calling- before I moved to TX I lived in PA for 25 years.

PS- I love that Passenger song, too!

Hope you are able to get back to the east coast to catch one :) Dead and Co. touring again in 2017, can't wait to go, my friends just messaged me today about it.

LOVE LOVE Passenger, if you are able to get to see him live, please do. His albums don't even do him justice, it's live where he really shines. What an amazing talent.

Yeah a few songs. Remember the "Daft Punk's playing" song from my FIFA playing days. They're alright, maybe something I'd have listened to ten years ago. Sound a bit too innocuous (if that's the right term) to me these days.

    Consider it on my playlist.
Yeah seen Muse back in May this year for the second time. Bit too much lightshow shenanigans for my taste, but seeing Plug in Baby live was worth it.
It's still a bit odd thinking back to when they started off with Showbiz, and how much they've grown since then.

I think I have all their albums, I enjoy the theatrical side to their stuff, it's fun.

Do you like anything from the 70's ? Any PROG Rock in your collection?
