Cannibalism?

    Toward the end, just before they came up on the walkers, there was a corpse with its lower legs skinned or something.

    Do y'all interpret that as cannibalism among the people who were still living? Or just someone who got his legs ripped off trying to escape?

    Oh I missed that...I would have to look for that again. Somehow the people living were eating...

    I think it was probably just a dead body. Although cannibalism will eventually be an issue.

    if the people living are eating a dead people...or even alive people they killed, they would be eating infected flesh. Could that make them sick/turn?

    Maybe.... but remember, no one would know everyone is infected until they saw someone die & reanimate, and they were sure that person had never been bitten.

    I didn't have it recorded and I may have misinterpreted it. It just seemed like they put emphasis on the shot when Rick shined his flashlight there.

    Yeah who knows...maybe when you cook the flesh, it kills the infection. I have a feeling those prisoners have been in there a long long time. But I am guessing since I avoid spoilers and don't know the comic.

    This is true so they wouldnt know not to eat them, but after the first time if anything was to happen they would learn not to eat the dead.

    This is a good possiblilty too, and i doubt they just ate human flesh off the bone without cooking it. So if that is the case they would never know it was infected. I mean if you cook other things it kills viruses so why not infected flesh.

    They might not have cooked it. Desperate times, desperate measures.

    If that's what happened. If it never gets mentioned again then it was probably my eyes not seeing it quite right.

    If you ask me.... Ricks group are the most sheltered when it comes to knowing that people reanimate once they die.

    I can't see alive person, eating the corpse legs. When, I saw it. Looks like it been torn to shreds, by Walker/Walkers eating the legs, while the person was still alive. It was very gruesome.
