Has anyone else tried this new show on Netflix that they released a couple weeks ago? After watching the first 2.25 episodes last night, I must say I'm really enjoying it so far. Its kind of like Stranger Things, but I bit more complicated.

The basic premise is that after kids start going missing in a small town in Germany, mysterious, sci-fi, complications start cropping up regarding many of the town's families. So far I think its done well.

Done with episode 3. This really has the potential to be a good show. It not a lightweight though. You have to pay close attention, like in Twin Peaks.

I recently found out about this one and binge watched - very good show! I read that Netflix has given the green light on season 2.

Just trying to keep track of which family member connects with which family over the generations makes the mind do a duck face.

I'm binge watching season 1 for the third time this weekend in preparation for S2 which arrives in a few days. Each time I watch it, this show gets better. Its quickly becoming one of the big ones for me, up there with TWD, GoT, Preacher, The OA, Twin Peaks, etc.

You've all still got 5 days to binge S1 before S2 drops ;).

If it's similar to Twin Peaks, in having to pay close attention to details etc, then I'll have to check this one out. It probably won't be until the fall/winter though when I normally binge watch or pick up new shows.

Yes, its a detail oriented show for sure. And each time I watch it, I pick up on more little relevant details that I hadn't noticed before. Just keeping track of how everyone is related to each other is a challenge on the first viewing.

I binged it last night. Fun story, but I wish we could hear the original soundtrack and dialog with subtitles instead of people reading the English version to us.

It gives you the option to do English subtitles if you want. You're watching it on Netflix, right?

    OH! Thank you!

I was so intimidated by my smart TV, I've been using my Comcast remote instead of diving into my TV's skills. With the Comcast remote, I've never been able even to turn on closed captions within Netflix for other shows. I need to jump in. (I even watched youtube tutorials, but it all still freaked me out.)

Finished Season Two. Loved it. Felt it was about the same quality as S1.

One thing I didn't like is that they had four Jonas's in the same time AT the same time. Two at the same time I found intriguing, four not so much. Also now everyone is traveling back and forth between time. Also when the other Martha showed up when the young Martha died with a micro time travel machine - for me it took away from time travel being a marked experience.

Another think is while I think Elizabeth is a cute (for lack of a better term) little girl, to have her show up as the leader of the resistance(?) - I'm not into that story line. On the other hand I do like the story line of Elizabeth being Charlotte's daughter and her mother - I'm interested to see how that plays out.

I just finished the series. So many twists and turns, you really have to pay attention or you get lost. I’m not sure I’m crazy about the way it ended, but it wasn’t horrible.
