Last night (3-9-2014) Maggie says something about the characters dealing with different hardships, including "missing fingers". Now, I haven't seen anyone missing any fingers yet so I am thinking she let something slip there and Chris Hardwick kind of blew right by it. I wonder what that could mean?

Yes, I heard that also and thought it was odd but as I thought about it I figured she was talking about Merle who lost a hand or the comics which have that happening also.

The gov also bit off Merles fingers in fight before Merles death.

I think she was talking about the group being separated, and it's like missing finger without the other people.

Yeah, the only person I can remember losing a finger is the hunter guy, and it's not exactly like he has to live with it very long.

I read about this, but he was being killed at the time so I don't think anyone would consider that being something one had to "deal" with. I expect we see some cannibals soon (maybe they have Beth?) and somebody loses some digits.
