Well, idk. He clearly hates Negan so it wouldn't surpise me if he becamse the comic Daryl.

im anxious to see how his story plays out. wont work as a Daryl/Merle substitution b/c of killing Abraham, but def has some similar qualities

He seems interesting. I'm buying his story from the latest issue for some reason.

 

I think he's honest about wanting Neegan dead. Look what Neegan did to him. Took his wife and burned the hell out of his face. I think he could join eventually, arguing that he had to kill Abraham, if he proves himself in the war with Neegan. I hope so. Would be really cool to see a member that is reluctantly accepted and hated by half of the group.

 

Agreed. I think he wants to do that mostly because of his wife. I was skeptic in the beginning when I saw him with Ezekiel, thought he was Negan's errand boy. Now it seems like he could really help them in the war.

 

I'll admit I was grossly intrigued to know if he received his facial blemish before the apocalypse started or after it. I'm glad they showed what happened in a reasonable amount of time.

 

I think Dwight truly wants Negan dead once and for all, but only so that once the Saviors are out of the way, he can take over Rick's group or something. The way I see it, Negan is more of a threat to Dwight than Rick in Dwight's POV.
