I don't know... I almost half expect it to be something else like a cat making that noise at the door. I've seen so many scenes like that where it turns out to be nothing.

 

When this show concludes several seasons from now. Alicia will STILL not know what the hell is going on.



Seriously, I don't know what the writers are attempting to set up. But if she is the first major cast member to die for not understanding the situation, I think the audience will just shrug and say "well that was pointless." I hope they have a better endgame for this plot thread than that.

There is an outspoken minister, who is also the head of a local Tea Party in a town where I used to live, and he used to write a weekly column in the op-ed section of the local paper, preaching in a divisive manner, usually something anti-gay, or anti-abortion, or ranting about the evidence for a 'young earth'. So I started writing a weekly column myself as a follow up to his columns, calling him out on his bs, using facts and reason. I used a fake name because I couldn't have public harassment in my profession. Anyway, this minister, whose name is Mel Mcginnis, asked the newspaper for my email [also an email with a fake name], and he started sending me threatening emails about how he was going to sue me for 'slander'. I would respond with snarky remarks about how when you are dealing with the written [not spoken] word, the technical term was 'libel', not 'slander', and then I'd go on to call him a corrupter of young minds. He would get so infuriated with me that his emails would become riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. I have no doubt he dedicated sections of his sermons to me.

 

Isn't it grand when common sense and reason wins.

The truth is the truth. Facts are facts.

Those who generate their own 'sense' have no defense.
