I thought this was a damn good mid season premiere. One of the better ones in recent memory. I was worried about delving too much into Jesus's death and they did not. Judith scenes were a bit absurd but could have been worse. Negan adventure and Whispers was well done.

Fingers crossed they can continue but I think story lines could produce some good drama. Glad to have another dangerous foe out there. Not since Claimer Joe have we had a true threat.
