Negan still gets to kill Alpha. Which then makes Beta bring down Hilltop, and possibly The Kingdom.

I have no idea what's going to happen in the finale which hasn't happened for a few seasons. Very exciting. Only thing I know for sure is shit's about to get real.

When Fear ended last season, it looked like they too had a time jump.

Yeah, I think we can rule out FTWD and possibly Rick. FTWD already has Morgan, so they can go to Virginia whenever Morgan feels up to it. Maggie would be lackluster because she can always just send a letter like Georgie has done on occasion.

It's probably going to be the Commonwealth, but Rick would be a great surprise. Could be Princess? But why she would have a working radio is beyond me.

 

I do not think we will hear Rick's voice as it would be too obvious to spoil his being alive. Instead, it would be someone's mentioning the name of Rick Grimes and without mentioning his being alive or not. This mystery should prompt Michonne to leave to search for a final answer (after the Whisperers war, of course). The voice over the transmission will be very weak as an post above says the close-captioning be turned on.

 

I definitely think it's Maggie or an absolute unknown (not even the Commonwealth) for the radio, if that's what happens. TWD and FTWD have both had time jumps, but TWD is still very far ahead of FTWD right now barring them having another large jump for the start of S5. Lauren Cohan is also contracted for six episodes this season, and she's only been in five, so maybe her voice at the end is the "sixth". Who knows, should be interesting. I'm definitely going to avoid spoilers this week because I am genuinely interested and want to be surprised.

Plus, FTWD does worse with the numbers than TWD does, so if Alicia or Strand or somebody came over the radio, half or more of the TWD audience probably wouldn't even know who it was and would be complaining that it wasn't Maggie or Rick, etc.

Rick would be a little far-fetched and fan-servicey I think, but it would give Michonne a reason to depart next season (to go find him) without killing her off, so I guess it's a possibility.

 

If it is the group from Fear, maybe it’s Morgan on the radio? His voice would be recognizable to the TWD fan base. I don’t think it’s going to be Rick to be honest but it could be Anne trying to see if anyone was still alive from ASZ. Not that she would know they would be listening or not.

All I know is that I won’t be able to watch on Sunday. My niece just turned one and I’ll be celebrating in NC. I will just have to wait till Tuesday when I’m home.

 

I wouldn't find Maggie being on the radio do anything for the story, I mean it's not like she's lost like Rick lol. She's off just doing some shenanigans with Georgie. Now what I would love is for her to come back in a epic fashion and save them from the snow storm or something, but by that chicks twitter its gotta be something on the radio, nothing would be more perfect than hearing Ricks voice even if he's not gonna be on the show anymore.

 

I didn't even consider Anne. That's an intriguing point.

By extension we could consider Heath, but Anne sent away people who were bit, so Heath is probably LONG been dead haha.

 

I think Rick or Anne are big possibilities.

We know both of them will be in the movie, and we know Michonne's leaving the show next season. It's not a huge stretch to consider that a voice cameo from Rick or Anne will be the set up for Michonne to leave and set out looking for Rick.

 

Didnt Rick also had to be in 6 Episodes, but was just in 5 yet ?

Rick would be perfect, a real happy End and also a good reason to leave for Michonne

 

Have Rick and Maggie been away that long in viewers terms for it to be that exciting though? I mean they've only been gone for 7 or 8 episodes.

 

I'm hoping it's some new character, like a very busty female that isn't gay.

 

I am of the opinion it will be Rick's voice we hear. I will be shocked if it is anyone other than him. And yes, Andy was supposedly signed to do 6 episodes and he only did 5.

I don't think it's going to be Rick or Maggie or anyone we've met before on the radio. It's not going to be the FTWD cast either.

I think it's going to be a new group entirely that's going to set up the drama for next season.
