I'm not surprised the prison set or whatever it was before that was built adjacent to the Keg Creek floodplain. BTW Keg Creek is a tributary of Line Creek which flows into the Flint River.

A 10-foot wide quicksand ring around the prison would be a more awesome defense than having a ditch or moat.

In the preview of the next episode, I think they show a night scene where the Governor (+Lily+Megan+Tara+unknown girl) went out of their car to see a big pool of zombies, which look like being half-immersed in the group. I wonder if the walkers are in a quicksand?

    Ok, Johnny J-Bone.
If they are going to use a city like Atlanta for the show then at least somewhat be realistic to what is available in area that your show is set in... Backhoe's and excavators are very easy to find around here. Maybe they should hire a technical consultant.

Maybe Zombies don't exist in real life but Backhoe's do....and they are everywhere around here.

Your like the weirdo Gov from last season following me around... Take off the eye patch already and break out your comic book collection of Super Duper Hot Anime Chicks, rub one out, drink some kool aid and call it a night..

How do you expect them to drive a backhoe out of Atlanta alive?

The reasons are out of the show anyway so no in show realism is gonna matter.

first of all they'd have to find an excavator, second, how would they get it back to the prison? They'd need a big open back truck. Logistics and all that

Easy. No walker can get to them on a backhoe or bulldozer. It would be the safest vehicle they have been in yet.. Also, a lot of backhoe's and bulldozers are already sitting on a flat bed waiting for delivery to the next job site.. It could be written in a very simple and plausible way..

Wouldn't it be a lot better show if they showed more realism in how people would try to protect themselves in a ZA?
