    hmm, I think there will be a drop from last year, for many reasons.
    1. not a huge cliffhanger from last year(like Terminus)
    2. burn out from 6 weeks of Fear The Walking Dead with no break between series.
    3. spoilers likely being more prevalent this year because of the Madison Square Garden.

    so, maybe a little higher than season 4, 16.25 or so.

    The lack of a cliffhanger could work against things, but I actually think the summer hype regarding FTWD actually could have increased the interest in the TWD franchise as a whole. Between each season break, we pick up more base viewers through Netflix and general social media attention. You might be right, but I'm feeling a bit more optimistic for some reason.

    Based on the lack of forum traffic this summer (as a barometer for the rest of the world outside this forum) and as has been said no cliffhanger at end of season 5 I am going with 16.56 mil
