    It appears we are on the third day into things at the end of Pilot, from the time Nick wakes up in the church. The first day he gets hit by the car, and the family visits him. The second day Madison wakes up in bed with Nick and goes back to the school. That night they look for Nick after he escapes and come across the scene in traffic when the walker is shot. Third day he meets Calvin and they end up finding him as a walker.

    I wonder what day Tobias would say it was, as he presumably has some internet information. This could notch up the outbreak a few days. But yes in this series in LA, we are on day three.

    Is that supposedly how the other members of Herschel's family died prior to Rick's group arriving?

    At the end of the dog we are on day 4. It's been claimed that the first season will bring us to week 3+. So things are either going to speed up greatly or there will be a small time jump before 106

    I wonder if Kirkman and the other producers are thinking that more time took place during season 1 of TWD than the fan base seems to think. While it may have only been a little over a month while Rick was in his coma but season 1 took place over the span of a couple weeks instead of just one week like the timeline on the wiki site says.
