Yeah, this isn't going to end well for Gamma. She has doubts now, and this is even before she knows about Lydia being alive. I don't think Beta trusts or likes Gamma, so he could be part of her undoing.

 

I have made the decision that I absolutely CANNOT STAND Gamma. And her mask is stupid too.

 

Her mask is bad. It gives off a Planet of the Apes vibe.

Personally, as of late, her mask reminds me of Cha Ka from Land of the Lost

 

I am telling you, that mask looks ridiculous. And her demeanor etc.......just doesn't work for me at all.

 

I simply cannot decide if I think Gamma will remain a loyal Whisperer, eventually defect and join AHO, or try to take over the Whisperer cult.

 

I think Gamma will struggle internally. But I do not think that any of the scenarios you mention will be her story. Rather, I think that either:

(1) Beta will find out about her new found loyalty to Aaron (Alpha's plan backfires) and thus to Alexandria. Upon finding out Beta will kill her unbeknownst to Alpha. Would be interesting to see Alpha's take on that if she were to find out after the fact.

(2) Gamma, though still with the whisperers physically, has possibly defected emotionally to Alexandria. At some point Aaron's life is in jeopardy and Gamma sacrifices herself to save him

I really do not want her to be allowed to defect to any of our communities. We are currently working through a story of a once upon a time despised villain trying to find his place among our people. To do it again, especially within the same season, would be too much, redundant.

I think that Gamma forming a bond of sorts with Aaron and then sacrificing herself for him would be far more interesting.

I have done more speculating this season than I have the previous 9 seasons LMAO
