i don't know, we got a long shot of the trap....if it wasn't important then they wouldn't have gone to the effort of getting a trap, attaching it the actresses leg and zooming in on it.

 

I think it was just a clever device to show us interesting things that could happen to walkers. Unless the hunters set a trap that wasn't chained or attached to anything lol. Its like the tree walker = Jim phase...just people reading more into things than is really there...

A little off topic but Carl should've killed those 2 walkers in the woods. Even the one stuck in the tree. Ya it wasn't hurting no one at that pt but some idiot is going to unknowingly pass by (like Hershel in season 3) and get bitten in the leg.

 

MHM there are billions of "walkers', would you waste limited resources and man power to blow the piss out of them. I rather enjoy the groups transition in the ZA, in that now they don't jump like scared lil rabbits every time they see a 'walker'. The dead lurking around are now just a secondary plot, so we can focus on the main plot The Walking Dead.
