Yeah, the editing was a bit weird. I still loved the scene though. Sometimes, it's what you don't see that can get kind of freaky. It was nice not seeing any walker before that. It's probably just me, but if I had seen a walker, that scene probably wouldn't have had the same feel to it. I'm glad they used it to open the episode.

 

Yep it was some pretty intense close quarters action going on there in the trunk.

 

And Hyundai would probably prefer their cars be hero cars rather than broken down wrecks by the side of the road!

I agree. I just rewatched that segment and there's a terrible jump in the editing. It does make me wonder if they cut something out. Maybe we will see it on the dvd extras?

 

I thought it was on purpose. With every lightning flash they moved to a next scene so we can hear how the walkers are passing, how many there are, etc. It was their whole night in a couple of minutes and I think the editing fitted the situation.

It's not that I know something about editing though...
