I’m atill trying to wrap my head around Morgan making a giant loop-de-loo around the country.

 

The timelines don't match up.

I think S5 should be the last, but I don't think they'll merge. I think Morgan will eventually decide he doesn't want to go back.

Either way, Morgan's inclusion on this show just continues to confuse me. What is his purpose, if not to bring the Fear characters to Alexandria? He hasn't done anything different to his time on TWD. Why include him briefly, and then have him decide he wants to go home? The only reasonable conclusion is that he's a catalyst for a show merge, but that doesn't make a lot of sense either. *shrug*

 

I agree. They've basically written the show into a corner! There's no way they can go to Alexandria if TWD has jumped forward X amount of years.

Which is pretty silly seeing as though they're about to lose alot of star power, and although i think FTWD back half has been pathetic and pointless, the core group is quote likable and would add new depth to TWD cast.

Maybe this seals Morgan's fate too, maybe he dies at some point and can't lead them back ASZ

 

The other thing is how do you bring Morgan over to Fear and you don't even give him a single scene with the previous lead of the show, Madison. That would have been an interesting character interaction. Since Kim Dickens didn't want to leave the show they should have dedicated the back half of the season to a story revolving around her, and then they could have killed her off in the finale. Clearly they ran out of ideas for the second half anyway. I don't see why they hurried to kill Madison.

 

I might as well have written this post.
