Is the bar code girl dead or just knocked out?

 

they implied Laura is dead but we won't know for sure until Talking Dead.

 

It looks like she's moved on, or in bar code world that would be scanned.

Alexandria extra Calen Edwards was the bearded fellow on guard outside the jail when he was murdered by Beta.

Calen’s character was among the newbies to join Alexandria in the 1008 flashback along with Dante, Jen, and Wayne.

 

Alexandria extra Rebecca Hardy was one of the two soldiers murdered by Beta at Echo Post.

Her death hits hard as she was a recurring Alexandrian who was around since Season 7. RIP Rebecca!

 

How many episodes did Rebecca actually appear in during the four years she had a character on the show?

 

I like her. I thought they could have done more with her character, would have been interesting to see her scanning code with Eugene.

I kind of got the feeling she's in trouble when she had the weapon on beta but didn't back him into the cell but into a corner instead, then told gamma to leave for help.

 

I think their relative standing position did not allow Laura to demand Beta walking into the cell because Mary was in the cell and Beta was, kind of, just blocking off the entrance. So, Laura asked Beta to walk backward to allow space for Mary to come out of the cell to look for help. Might be Laura has been a ASZ council member for too long. She was a good fighter (six?) years back when she was a Saviour lieutenant. She could have pushed that spear into Beta's neck, say half an inch, to create some pain as a clear warning to Beta not to resist.

 

Even better she could have, should have, pushed that spear all the way in and killed him.

 

True. Maybe she was trying to capture this big tall Whisperer alive per Gabe's wish of capturing and breaking them with tooth pulling and fingers breaking?

 

She didn't do it right. She should have gone right behind beta and put the spear into the back of his neck and pushed it in a bit.

Beta wouldn't be able to see her or how she was holding the weapon. Then shove beta forward into the cell. Then tell gamma to "take the gun and shoot him if he moves". Then back out of the cell with gamma and lock the door.

 

Only 10 episodes lol, she also works as a stand-in on the show I believe.

I hate that Laura died. She had so much potential. She could have been explored more. A high ranking, devoted Savior to high ranking Alexandrian. I always wanted to see some interaction between her and Negan in the cell.

It's rare we get to see someone really cross over to the "good side". She should have been explored more deeply.

 

Exactly. She knows how all of this should play out, afterall she was formerly with the Saviors.

 

So is she actually dead or just knocked out? Beta threw her against the bars but I didn't see him stab her or anything. Plus, although she's not a main character, she wasn't on the couch for TTD afterwards, but they did list her on In Memoriam.
