I thought it was the best cod to date other then the lag connection that sometimes gives others more of an advantage.

 

I've enjoyed this game quite a bit. I enjoyed BOps also but I prefer the feel of Treyarc's games over IW. It's kinda like the difference between Quake and Unreal...

I'd say over the last few months, I've only seen one host migration (it happened last night) and only had a couple of instances of lag. That's with playing ~17 hours a week. A lot of the spawns still suck but overall, I've enjoyed it.

 

Ive also enjoyed the game OVERALL, the only thing that has dissapointed me with BO2 is the maps.

The maps i enjoy playing most are the re-made maps from previous COD's, which says it all really...

 

I thought Raid and Standoff were epic! Most were trash though.

 

I got a VSAT a few times since owning the game.....

Of course it hasnt been until now that Ive tried to go for anything moderately high such as that. Guess I didn't have enough faith until now. I guess the grinding to get better will still tie me over until the next release.

Treyarch versions are sooo much better than the Modern Warfare garbage. Plus you get zombies.

 

I've been playing since MW1 and this is by far the worst cod I've played. That's purely from a connection standpoint. But lets face it connection is 99% of a game like this. I like the 10 point system, and felt the guns were balanced. But none of that matters when my opponents are 5 seconds ahead of me.

I can't wait for Ghosts. It will probably be the last cod I buy because I've always liked IW games more since I always do better in them. I am refusing to buy another Treyarch game. I just tried to play some nuketown and I rage quit out of the first 3 games they put me in. I'm residing myself to Mario Kart Wii till Ghosts is released...On my birthday no less.

 

Every edition of COD seems to cater more and more towards kids.

Target finders are exactly what confirms my statement.

 

I'll give you that, Standoff and Raid are decent.

 

I enjoyed bo2 but it did get old. Between the small maps and teams spamming uav's I spend too much time starring in the sky. I have over 6500 blackout medals. Ghost seems to have bigger maps and a better uav system. I will miss standoff and raid.

 

What I found fascinating about the game was the evolution of the gameplay itself. Over the life of the release I observed some trends and some reversals of trends. For instance, nade launchers. Pretty much unused for 3/4 of a year, but came into heavy use during the last few months, especially on Dom. Can't even begin to count how many people adopted the GL to clear out flags. One and done as they'd say. That tactic morphed into regular TDM/HCTDM gameplay where every other person had a GL and just ran around on the smaller maps (Hijacked, Nuketown, Studio, etc.) blasting away. Same thing for target finders. Didn't hardly see them in the beginning (just wasn't cricket, you know), and then I would play HCTDM in the last few months where even the lowly MP7 would have a TF equipped in the final killcam.

 

It had a lot of bad things was a fun game. Even got the gf into it and she loves it. So we play the time together ,yes we split screen we also use the target finder so gtfo . the target finder is awesome. I hope it is in ghost.

People who hate can't counter it which there is for it.
