I don't wear makeup... never really have. So obviously, I wouldn't wear makeup during a ZA.

Also, wouldn't makeup be hard to come by? Besides a busted store, where would you get it safely? And where would you store it? Your pocket/bag? And is there really a guarantee it wouldn't just fall out or get left out during an emergency?

 

Dunno 'bout that! But I can guarantee that as long as there was internet service, the inane FB's posts would still be a'flying from the chickarellas!!

No, I would not, unless I lived in a town or community where I could safely settle down. What would be the point, otherwise when you're constantly running from zombies? I would miss having a nice hot shower everyday, though. I can't go less than a day without taking one. I don't like feeling dirty.

 

It really depends on the level of safety and comfort I'm in. If I'm in a safe place with running water and a mirror, maybe lol. If I'm on the run, no. Either way i would be far more concerned with things like dental hygiene. Can you imagine having a rotten tooth and no dentist? Not to mention the other health issues infected teeth can lead to.

 

I already don't wear make up now, so no, obviously.

 

The book "The Postman" (which was the inspiration for one of Kevin Costner's rather unsuccessful attempts at sci-fi movie-making) had a bit about the main character's desperation when he realizes many years after the end of civilization that his last toothbrush has been stolen. Made me really think about dental hygiene and how awful life must have been even 150 years ago when there really weren't any real dentists (aside from quacks running around yanking out painful teeth with giant pliers without the benefit of anesthesia). If the ZA happens in my lifetime, my go-bag will definitely include as many toothbrushes as I can get my hands on.

Well, if I had a camera crew filming me, then yes I would wear makeup. If not, no. Unless I happened to come across some in a house somewhere and had access to water to wash the dirt off my face and access to some clean clothes. I would put it on, just to feel a small amount of normalcy. Bu makeup n a daily basis? Hell no.

 

I would. As long as I had access to it. Duh.

 

I totally forgot a toothbrush and dental floss for my "stuff to horde in a ZA" list. I use a water pik and electric toothbrush now. OMG I'd miss them so much!

 

And this surprises you? Men look like hobos by Sunday morning.

 

I'd also like to know how the women keep their hair so clean and perfectly styled....gotta get me some of whatever that is.
