I'll say it, Strand, Alicia and Luciana are shitty raconteurs. When they're telling stories and completing each other's sentences and making it 'intense', they're so bad and the writing is so cheesy!!!!

Pretty bad episode IMO, and I stand by my earlier post, I don't think she's dead.

 

For the love of all that is dead, can we please, please, PLEASE....... stop with the dang time hops and flashbacks?!? (A guy can dream, right?)

 

This was the last episode with timeline flashbacks

 

Well I won't say I'm done with this show, I'll still watch. But this was not the payoff I was expecting.

I was really hoping that this episode would be mind blowing, something that nobody could have seen coming.

Literally the only "twist" was that Madison met Al before finding the stadium. So 7 episodes of flashbacks just to give us this amazing "twist"? Weak.

 

Outside of Gimple's tricks (characters acting stupid to move the plot forward, the speeches, the flashbacks, the slow motion montages, and the glimmer of hope that's extinguished mercilessly), no. It wasn't what I expected at all.

 

I half expected Madison to go out in a blaze of glory, but I just didn't know if they would go that far. I'm not entirely sure why they killed her? And after Nick dying. Wow.
I like the new people they've brought in a bit more than the ones who are still left.
I like how they did the Madison/Althea footage.
I liked the Morgan scene with Alicia. Gives be hope for her.
All in all, I'm happy with the episode.
I hate going into a break with a major cliff hanger. This sets them up nicely for a fresh start in the 2nd half.

 

I really hope that she wanted written off and they just didn't write her off as shock value. Because if so that is the stupidest thing ever, and I might finally start to get on the bandwagon for hating Gimple.

Worried about how much steam Fear will have without both Nick and Madison, but so far it's still holding up this season.

 

I thought the lead character of the series should have had a better death scene than the one they filmed. Real low budget. Felt that after keeping the mystery of Madison's fate the whole season that it was anticlimactic to have Alicia reveal it when the entire stadium flashback series was leading us to that moment. Let us see it instead.

The real problem I had with this episode though was how Charlie is traveling with the group after killing Nick in cold blood.

 

I agree - I hope they don't lose a lot of the loyal viewers who enjoyed season 1-3 because as someone who is just now really invested with this season, I would hate to lose the show.

 

Nope. On TD she said she was devastated when she found out she was going to die.

 

I didn't mind the time jumps because I thought they were done in a very clear way so it was obvious when things were happening...to me it wasn't confusing in the slightest.

I don't mind that Charlie is still alive and traveling with them because she's just a little kid for cripes sake.

I thought Madison's death was actually done in a very dignified and appropriate way, even if it did leave me with the tiniest sliver of hope that she climbed the fence and got the hell out of there That hope was squashed after the show when it was confirmed she died.

However, my biggest nitpick was probably the way Alicia, Luciana and Strand were so hell bent on killing Naomi that they made temporary enemies out of Al, Morgan and John. To me it was a bit much. They knew Naomi ran from the stadium and they knew she ended up with the vultures, but I felt like the drive to kill her was a little over the top with the information they had.

So that's really my main nitpick. I'm glad that situation was diffused

 

Yeah they made Alicia go full cray cray. She was scary.

 

The actress did a phenomenal job!
