I can't tell you how many times I've heard that said about Carol since forever, yet she keeps proving otherwise.

 

I remember before season 5 so many people saying that her banishment would be the end of her and there's no way she could redeem herself to the group. Yet, she did, and since then she's just been full of story opportunities.

 

I would be disappointed to see Carol go. I like the job Melissa McBride has done and I think the show is stronger with her on it, particularly since it's lost some real talent in the past year or so with David Morrissey, Scott Wilson and Michael Rooker being killed off.

Also, Rick is eventually going to come down off of the harder line he's taking but I don't see Carol doing the same. It's good to have people that will challenge Rick, or even go off on their own tangent. It just makes for a more interesting show than having all of the survivors follow him like sheep.

I can understand though why some people might think she's on the chopping block because they've built her up a bit this season as they've done with others before they are gone.

I could see Glenn going though. He's gotten more screen time of late too. If we had to have a main cast death, I'd prefer it to be Maggie.

 

Carol is the new Daryl. If she dies, we riot!
