Oceanside: Yea or Nay?

    This topic will touch on other discussions but I think it deserves its own thread.

    Was that the Oceanside group that surrounded Rick's company and the end?

    I think Yea. That was almost all women. In fact, I didn't see any men, although it's been mentioned that there were some. I don't think we would have had Tara's bottle episode unless they were going to join in the fight, and this episode was about Rick making allies. Also, having yet another group join in with no introduction at all goes against everything that's happened this season.

    I don't believe it's Oceanside. They are in an urban area and not near the water. I'm also pretty certain there were some males in the armed group. This is a new group we haven't seen yet, so my vote is .......Nay.

    I vote nay. My first thought was Oceanside, but as others have pointed out, there were some men there (although there was a fairly high percentage of women). Also, Tara didn't seem to recognize anyone in the group, although it's possible she didn't see everyone who was actually at Oceanside (nor would she have necessarily recognized them since she wasn't there all that long). Maybe Heath will suddenly step up from the back and we'll finally find out what happened to him.

    No, that was a totally different group. Not only were there several adult men present, Oceanside is not that close to the ASZ.

    Don't forget we had to watch thun*cough*der thighs Tara long trek home.

    nope, not them, we'll see them again when Tara spills the beans to Rick about all their weapons. Plus there will be a good chance that Oceanside will jump at the chance to off Negan when they learn Rick has an army amassed.

    Nope, not Oceanside. There were a lot of men. A lot of very tall men.

    There were quite a few men in that group. It wasn't oceanside. Especially if you watch the preview of next week's episode, you see a lot of men. That was a very large group.

    I am not saying there are women who are extremely nor those that have facial hair, but to have more than one or two in a ZA group would be odd....

    I am seriously outvoted on this one.

    I have this question: Is it reasonable for a group that large to have existed within a one-day scavenging trip so close to Alexandria and not have been detected before?
