On May 9th, Bandai Namco will release Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game supports 64 players at once



There is a Deluxe Edition available now that includes Lunar Animals Pac and Namco Pals Pac. Arcade fans will appreciate the fan service. Additionally, players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will get access to the game a full week before launch.

In fact, Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle was a Google Stadia exclusive, which shut down in 2023, disappointing many gamers. Stadia's head, Phil Harrison, resigned after the shutdown.

After releasing an announcement trailer late last year, the developers scheduled Chomp Champs for "early 2024." This release window came without any concrete updates. So, retro enthusiasts are sure to be pleased with the news.
