Yeah Duzy, good point. Here it is, they are all in lock down and she can't even manage to keep her son in the house even for that? I had a little bit of understanding the first time around, but this time around they were on high alert.

 

Dale's dead. Shane's dead. What will people whine about now?

It sucks to see Shane go, but he was finally truly coming unraveled. Most of the things he had done before involved a rationale that was obviously too subtle for a lot of people to grasp.

But this episode, he was attempting to set up an alternate reality for himself that obviously couldn't work out. Even if he was able to carry through with everything and somehow convince everyone of his story, he wouldn't have been able to live with himself. Quite honestly, I think even he knew that and his final emotions as a human were probably a mixture of remorse at his actions, and relief that Rick had taken him out.

Anyway, now that he's gone, either Lori will find a way to keep the soap-opera alive or we will see them move on to a more hardcore way of post-ZA life. Damn, I sure hope it's the latter.

 

Lori will never learn. She's going to die soon. No I haven't read the comics but I was able to predict a lot of the actions that have taken place lately in The Walking Dead.

Carl was upstairs "keeping watch". I think he probably crawled out the window. But yeah, if it were me, I'd have that kid duct taped to the wall. But maybe it's just that Rick and Lori find him as annoying as we all seem to and WANT him to get bit.

 

And Carl firing the gun started the Zombie horde...

As a Single guy, in a ZA...kids are toast. Not taking any under 15 in my group. maybe older.

Right! If I thought a dangerous man was lurking with a gun that allegedly knocked out one of the group's tough guys, I'd be holed up with gun in hand in house, making sure my kid stated within a few feet behind me at all times.

 

Carl doesn't fire that gun, and his dad becomes the first snack for zombie Shane.

 

I got confused over this. Didn't Shane fire his fun when Rick stabbed him? Why didn't that alert the Walkers?

 

Yes his gun went off when he was stabbed. That makes two gun shots.

Anyway, on Talking Dead, an email to Chuck asked if Carl is wearing Frodo's invisibility cloak to keep sneeking away. LMAO!

 

The way I look at it at least the kid has a free childhood. Most kids are complete prisoners now a days. Way over protective parents out there. At least the kid isn't getting babied

Yeah but during a lock down, when a dangerous and armed person is on the loose (or so they think)? Then the zombies all over the place, one killing Dale? There has to be some limits and safe guarding.

yeah Lori is a bad mother. i was pissed when Rick was like, "ill have Lori talk to him about it." that was one thing Shane WAS thinking clearly about; Carl needed his father. I hope after this Rick will do a better job paying attention to Carl.
