This is all over the media in the past couple days.

If you visit their website, FX and American Horror Story have an appearance in their worst TV categories too. They advocate something called CableChoice, say they shouldn't have to subsidize offensive content in order to get the other channels they do want. BWAHAHAHAHA....cable subscribers have been clamoring for a la carte subscriptions for awhile now. I doubt Time Warner ( or whatever they are called after the merger of the month) is going to sacrifice their cash cow for a bunch of whiny do -gooders.

Their mission statements says that.. "PTC is leading the fight so you can pick and choose what you want to watch on TV"
Apparently personal choice and a remote control are not enough.

They also want Ratings Reform because TV MA is not concise enough for grown ass people to make viewing decisions for their own kids. They say ratings are inconsistent or missing, and imply this is deliberate. Parenting is hard, mkay...

They like to harass advertisers to further their attempt to absolve themselves of any personal or parental responsibility too. Because mega corporations are going to forfeit millions of dollars in profit to appease people who are too lazy to parent. I expect that to happen the day after Never.

Lol, I could almost get behind them if they could actually force Time Warner to offer a la carte subscriptions, but back here in reality, I just accept that Time Warner was spawned by Satan and is based in the 8th ring of Hell, so good luck to you, special little snowflakes.

We could flood them with complaints about using the internet as their bully pulpit and encourage them to return to their safe space where they will get a participation trophy. I pay too much $$ for internet and do not want to subsidize their whiny bullshit. Of course I could avoid their website and ignore their propaganda, but then I couldn't involuntarily force everyone else do to the same. Triggered.

Ha! When I saw that, I wondered whether it's television's Bash Someone's Brains Out Week. ;) And then the eating of the leg ... it seemed very Walking Dead-like. At the beginning of the show, there was that text that said My Roanoke Nightmare was the most-watched show on Sunday nights, beating even The Walking Dead, so I wonder if those similarities were intentional?

Either way, I legit had a nightmare last night about eating someone's body parts while they were still alive. So maybe I should watch some light comedy tonight.

I saw this thread and I knew it was the forum calling me home. I watched the first 10 minutes of AMC Outcast, the young kid head butting the wall and eating bugs. I turned it off. That's not for me. I didn't feel it necessary to demand the cable company remove it from the schedule. I just switched off. It's really that simple. I wouldn't be happy with children watching the Outcast. So I would make sure they didn't.
Glenn suffered his comic book death, it was brutal, well shot and directed. It made us feel different about our group of heroes.

Kids of the 80's must remember Tipper Gore's assault to take down heavy metal or anything with 'questionable' lyrics. It was called PMRC, I think they were the ones to get the label advosories on CDs.

yep, that worked lol...it only got worse- 2Live Crew...anyone?!?

It's a tribute to my online love. Pepperann. If she wasn't a ginger, I would've made the trip to meet her in person but I'm scared of gingers.

To be honest, every time comic Negan walks into his penthouse parlor, my brain starts playing "Pop That Pussy". :zombies_lol:

You know that's totally his background shagging music.

EDIT: As well as "Me So Horny", but that was a given.

One of the movie channels we had in our satellite TV package showed porn every night after midnight. Actual porn (not the soft kind). My parents just told us we couldn't watch that and so we didn't. There was no "moral outcry" to try and ban it for everybody in the country, when the solution was a little parenting.

There s a group like that in every country. They fail at parenting thinking the tv is a babysitter and instead of blaming themselves they want to ruin the fun to everyone. Be damned them

Be honest, how many times you woke up in the middle of the night to go and watch that channel?

Haha, none actually. I accidentally saw some of it once (had taped a movie just before midnight and got some porn as a bonus after) and thought it was just gross. :zombies_lol:

If you had made the trip she would of chloroformed you, tied you up , shaved you like sheared sheep, covered you in chocolate and changed your name to twinky.
