Opossums play dead when cornered. Raccoons will attack.

Actually Opossums don't "play" 'possum, They literally pass out.
    Also
Opossums have the most teeth of any land mammals and are extremely vicious when they need to be (and don't pass out).
    I was assigned
Opossums in ninth grade bio classes.

My Jack Russell found one in the back yard once. Cornered it and it passed right out. The opossum was bigger than my Jack Russell. Didn't even attempt to put up a fight.

Great question. I go Raccoon City every time. It is a hellhole for sure, but at least it seems governed by the laws of physics and reality. Silent Hill is just a messed up nightmare. You can shoot a zombie, you can't shoot a nightmare.

I raised a baby raccoon I found that had been abandoned by it's mother. He thought he was a cat because we had five cats at the time. When he got to big and destructive for our house he went to live on a farm where they had pet rabbits. One day, out of the blue it killed two of the rabbits it had been around peacefully for months.

Raccoons can be very social with humans when they are younger.

One of those B******s Broke into my house once. I had just moved to this wonderful mountain town, and came home to find that a raccoon busted into my kitchen window, and was going through my unpacked boxes! What a fun night... Although in the morning, I was taking out the trash, and when I opened the door, there was a huge bear digging in my dumpster... That's cool, I can take it out later, or the raccoon can, I don't care.

definitely Raccoon City.. hopefully i could run into some S.T.A.R.S. officers or something. At least in RC youd know what the hell you were getting -- zombies. In Silent Hill.. just.. screw that.

I would go to Raccoon City. At least there, you can hole up somewhere. In Silent Hill, there is no escaping the evil.

I thought the people in Silent Hill found out they were all dead/ghosts at the end of the movie? Raccoon City all the way.

    Raccoon City every time.

As scary as the zombies are, they're predictable, you know they're there, you have some idea of how to kill them and how to deal with them. You can barricade yourself; they might be the undead but they still have to obey the laws of physics.

Silent Hill on the other hand... man, that place manifests horrors from your own psyche. It personifies everything you have ever feared and sends it flying towards you. What could be scarier than that?

No thanks. I'll go and get my face chewed off.
