It didn't take me long to be glad I wasn't married to her anymore...
We tried, sort of, went to a councilor of her choosing and after a couple months he told her to "Stay off my ass and stay on her meds." I said "What meds?!" So there you go, we loved each other but she was moody and crazy. But it's been more than a dozen years, and we have a pretty cool son who's 15 now. A while back we even changed custody because I live in a better school district. So, even though we're not together it's better now, we can at least agree on what's best for our boy.
I also have had the same lady friend for over a decade. She lives two blocks away, and when it gets too deep, we just go back home instead of arguing until something stupid gets said.

    Carl.

I would say it comes down to a mixture of infidelity, boredom and just growing part. Sometimes people change too much for another's liking.

There is gold in this thread. :)

Suspected Domestic Violence Incident Was Really Just A Guy Farting

    • Turns out he was just blowing off steam.

A recent suspected domestic violence incident in Clawson, Mich. turned out to just be the blood-curdling sounds of a woman smelling a fart.

“One of the neighbors had heard somebody yelling — a female yelling … she was possibly being hit — yelling, ‘Stop! No!’” Clawson Police Chief Harry Anderson told CBS Detroit.

The caller also told dispatchers that she heard a loud noise occur between the woman’s shouts.

When cops knocked, the woman answered the door. She admitted she’d been shouting, but said it was because “her boyfriend had continued to pass gas, and she was yelling at him to stop,” Anderson said.

Sometimes, though, a little flatulence can lead to real violence. In May, a Florida woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend after he farted in her face during an argument.

And in December, a woman in South Carolina allegedly sprayed Lysol in her husband’s eyes after he farted “bad enough to cause her to almost puke,” according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.

I could vote only one of your choices but at least three of them are reasons to get a divorce. A marriage will last if it has love, trust, and respect if there is physical violence or infidelity that marriage is doomed.

You forgot "makes a pile of toenail clippings and leaves them on the arm of the couch to be funny". That would get at least one vote.

It all begins from simple misunderstanding and unfaithfulness. Normally its one of the couples that begins and then the other one decides to 'avenge'.
