I agree, I think Rick was venting the negative emotion he had for Lori. So basically no closure and a lot of pent up emotion equals belly stabbing, freaking out, axe man Rick.

 

I think he was going to do an autopsy to see if that was in fact lori's remains. then he couldnt bring himself to.

Agreed, Rick was gonna cut open the Walker to Find his Wife's Remains, but then he couldn't do that so instead he went Berzerk ! Rick is gonna go to a Very Dark Place, well he is really already there. ET/Phone Home....hahahaha...

I believe he stabbed the hell out of the stomach because that is where the baby was in Lori so he could be angry at the baby.... This we do not know yet though. He MAY love the baby yet.

This is what I think....kinda. Not necessarily angry at the baby but I think he is angry at "the pregnancy" for being the reason Lori died. And in his hightened state of cuckoo-ness....this was his way of addressing that.

Rewatching it last night, at first....he was obviously thinking back to what he and Daryl did when they had to make sure that the Walker in season 2 didn't eat Sophia. Looked like he was originally going to do a lil autopsy.....and then in his head he said "OMG WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD THAT WE HAVE TO DO CRAZY SHIT LIKE THIS???" and then boom! Went crazy on that belly as symbollism of Lori's cause of death.

 

Unless it was pure shout of rage, what did Rick say while he was stabbing the zombie?!
