I thought you'd be more of a threat :(

Seriously though, how did they survive this long randomly attacking any groups of humans they come across? They would've actually stalked their prey and picked them off one by one like wolves do. But eh, minor nitpick.

If I remember right, there was the Border Collie lead dog (makes sense, smartest dog would be the leader), a German Shepherd, Doberman Pinscher and one or two more black/dark coloured dogs I couldn't see. Anyone got pics?

there were 4 dogs total, the border collie, the shepherd and 2 dobies. Also, I don't think it was just them eating people but walkers as well. Remember Clear? (I believe) there was a scene of some dogs eating a walker by the roadside and they ran into the bushes when the car went by. In fact, I think that was the first time we had seen dogs in the ZA. Of course as the packs became more feral and organized, they may have hunted fresh meat more instead of settling for rotted walkers.

there's something off about those fangs they are showing, they look too long. Those Dobies look kind of like vampire dogs, lol. Maybe they put a prosthetic in their mouth so it looks like they are snarling, because when a dog snarls you usually have the front teeth showing too, not just a fang.

Yeah I think they put some prosthetic in, or even CGI their teeth on some more?

Nah, I don't think so, I think they just have really long fangs. Dobermans are known for having a very strong scissor-like bite. If you look at the border collie, it's growling the same way where they just lift muscles on the sides of it's mouth to show teeth.

This is a cool vid of making a prop zombie dog:

You can see in the vid when they're making the skull, to get it to growl they make the two muscles on te side move first and then the 'nose' muscle. If that makes any sense.

Oh, and I admit it, I didn't need this vid to explain what I mean, I just think it's freaking awesome and wanted to share lol xD

Edit: Around 1:25 is when it shows the snarling mechanism

I wouldn't eat those dogs. They have probably been eating 'killed' zombies. That dog meat is zombie meat.

Are we sure that these dogs are wild? When they all stopped in a straight line and at the same time I was wondering if someone blew a whistle and stopped them? Or they were a distraction to the group for someone else to come up from behind? Anyway, I was surprised that Sasha blew them away and there was nothing further about the dogs.

What really got me was how far they have come from Rick slapping the Dog Food out of Carls hand in the Season 3 opener to now, eating the freshly killed Doggies!

The dogs are now part of the group. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Nice to see the group taking the dogs out for a walk.

It would have been hilarious if the leader was a shih Tzu. Like with a bell dangling, and a bow on its head.

Interesting when you think back to even the start of S3... Rick wouldn't let Carl eat dog food, and now things are so desperate that they're eating dogs. Don't know if anyone else had that go through their minds or not.

This point, we've essentially had a whole season+ of "on the road and in constant danger" since the prison... a few more episodes and time to hit safety again, fleeting though it may be.

Well, they ate the dogs, so that was their fate.

The Tiny Dog is no fool!

He was watching from the bushes and lives to fight another day.

My shih Tzu would last exactly 9 seconds in a ZA. She would run up to the first walker she saw and put her front paws on its leg so that it would pet her.
