    Will Shane haunt Rick throughout the rest of the show or is it just a one time thing? I believe Shane will be a big influence on ricks decisions and I don't think it is the last we see of Jon bernthal.

    IDK but I thought that "Shane" last night was going to be the brother from Woodbury when Rick's vision cleared up.

    Liked the whole, Rick's vision of Shane thingy. Kind of like a post traumatic experience, which still shows Rick's fragile state of mind.

    IKR. Last nights preview showed Carl having a confab w/his dad about his ability to lead!?!? Do you think Carl was referring to leading another rescue mission or leading the group in general??? Looks like lil Carl maybe vying for the groups Ricktatorship:hatchet:

    It could be editing magic. Maybe it's something like "hey dad I want you to stay here with me, I think you should stop being the leader" something in those lines maybe?

    Rick needs to get over Shane already lol.

    Yeah, but who else is going to lead them? Even in the state he is, he is still the most competent.

    I think Daryl is more of a right hand-man sort of guy, perhaps Tyrese will step in and take some load of off Rick's shoulders.

    We'll wait and see! I haven't read the comics, so I don't know anything about Tyrese yet.
    I suppose it's a burdain these types of characters just have to cope with, Rick quickly took on the leadership of the group after he joined them, for some it just comes naturally and they haven't got much choice but to deal with it

    I too don't think this is the last we'll see of Shane, but I do agree with however, as mentioned, that the thought of Shane will influence Rick's decisions in the future.

    I think it would be much better when Shane had left with Randall and would go his own way.
    Then in Season 4 or 5 they could meet him again, maybe as leader from some crazy terror gang.

    But now they cant turn back, I hate it that he will only appear as an illusion from now on :(

    Many people say that Shane did not care about the others except Lori and Carl.
    But in S2E1 Shane drags Glenn away from the RV to hide from the zombies.
    If he didnt care about him he would just run off alone.
    Just wanted to add this :D

    Ah and for Shane Fans:

    Why is Shane not Sticky? :(

    Would anyone have felt better about Shane killing Otis, if they fleshed out more in the tv series that Otis was a racist.
