Considering how every other car was flipped over or burnt, you have to just kind of wink at that one as a necessary plot device to get them home. But the neat thing was, they had two intact and upright motorcycles right in front of it, which would have gotten tipped over by rioters as well, so it gave the impression that things weren't as bad on this street. I thought that was a pretty neat touch.

 

To be fair, his truck is already pretty beat up. "Oh, looks like people already trashed this one. Let's find something else to destroy!"

Actually, I think his beat up truck is going to die on them in a very inconvenient spot...
