Has anyone noticed the symbolism there yet? The opening sequences show the actors names over something that is surrounded by rot, scavengers, decay or been abandoned.
    Name ______________________Over
    Andrew Lincoln (Rick) _________A Badge
Laurie Holden (Andrea) ________Spent shell casings
Sarah Callies (Lori) ___________Same as Laurie
Norman Reedus (Daryl) ________Crossbow bolts in a tree
    Steven Yeun (Glenn) __________The Watch
    Lauren Cohan (Maggie) _________A Graveyard
Chandler Riggs (Carl) ___________Cherokee Rose with the abandoned house (from season 2) in the background
Danai Guirra (Michonne) _________A door with light showing under it
Michael Rooker (Merle) __________A walkers face (showing mainly the left eye)
David Morrissey (Governor) ______The inside of an abandoned home
The rest are 'recurring' and not in the opening sequence

Ok, I'm breaking out my 25 year old Psych classes (and calling 'Miss Cleo') and going to look at these (and they probably don't mean ANYTHING, but I'm bored and I've noticed them before).

Rick is easy, His represents order and law where little to none exists
Andrea, also easy, Her wanting to be a warrior and not a victim
Lori, I think this is her BEING the victim. Not Carl's victim but of the world they live in.
Daryl, I think this is just straightforward, Daryl is exactly what he is
Glenn, Showing time is important, especially if (see the next)
Maggie, I hope this isn't hinting what will happen before the end of this season
Carl, (the rose) may be the 'tears' for losing his mom and (house) the loss of a normal life
Michonne A chance at something better (life with Rick's crew)
Merle Death, his or another persons caused by his own failings
Governor, he's an empty shell. No emotions.

Any one else want to chime in?

I was thinking about this yesterday. Thank you for sharing! I think we won't know for sure until the end of the season.

I agree with most of stuff you mentioned, but probably watch next to Steven's name is just mentioning watch that Glenn got from Hershel in S2. He told Glenn that he's the right man for Maggie. Same as Daryl and arrows I guess

Since you said about Maggie and the graveyard, I'm thinking maybe that represents her family, that were killed in the barn? Just a thought.
