Since it's "in-house" I dont think we will be able to unless they put out a soundtrack...

They better put out a soundtrack sooner or later. You can't just not let us have a cd of this epic music!

Agreed. I don't even want to get them via "other methods" (which I only do if there is no other way to get songs) because even then most of the songs are only like twenty seconds to a minute long. I just don't understand why they haven't released one yet, you know they'd get a lot of money from it.

Bear McCreary is doing a wonderful job with the original score for the show. I really like this OST background synthesizer sound in the end of the episode. Kinda reminds me of Carpenter's legendary original movie scores from the 80's.

I just can't wait for the OST to be released, but I hope we'll see it in 2013.

I too thought of Carpenter's early work when I heard it.

McCreary has indeed done a fantastic job. His "sadness/lost" theme that originated in the first episode and has since been reused several times throughout the series always pulls at my heart strings.

Oh yeah, the first episode... the scene with the bicycle walker... that song was one of the best I have ever heard in the movie/tv show industry.

The OST really fits in ZA and that's why Bear McCreary is now one of my favorite composers.

I love the music used in this show. I'm a massive fan of original movie score music so I recognise a lot of the stuff being used - eg Sunshine in season one - also a piece from the film Rabbit Proof Fence. Incredible. I wasn't as into this piece used at the end of the last episode as some of you seem to be, but I don't deny how effective it was :)

No problem and I know I am!! :zombies_lol:

I don't know if you can get actual recordings, maybe the site has info on that? other than that it's pretty cool watching Bear talk about the scores and the musicians play them.
