They clearly gave the middle finger to Orange Backpack Guy's fans in that scene.

 

This is a travesty of epic proportions!

 

Carl might want to reconsider possessing that backpack. Characters with backpacks do not have longevity on this show (e.g. orange backpack guy and, most recently, Zach). This show completely discriminates against backpackers, therefore I demand we raise awareness by starting a National Backpack Awareness Day. I will dish out the petition as soon as I flesh out all the nuts and bolts of starting a national holiday. Viva La backpack!

 

It's quite the curse, but has such a curse ever met someone like a Grimes and succeeded? This is the kid that took a bullet to the ****ing chest and was back up on his feet in a few days.

 

And he put a slug in his mother's brain.

So the question is; Should Carl be afraid of owning the orange backpack, or should orange backpack be afraid of Carl?

 

All I need is a flashback of them and then I'll forget what the show has done to them. I always get the impression of before the world went to shit Orange Backpack Guy and Orange Backpuck were a couple and motherf*cker Rick broke them up and torture one in order to take the other. Either way I believe there is a sad story behind the scenes.
