I've read The Shining back a few years back and it was terrifying. I find the movie more disturbing and creepy though.

Just finished it last week. It was amazing. Liked it better than the movie.

The Shining is absolutely amazing! While the Kubrick film is a classic, to me it pales in comparison to the book, which is simply bone-chilling.

I can't stand the Kubrick film. Who didn't want to kill Wendy?

Totally missed the point of the book.

I liked the second adaption from the 90´s. The moving hedges that were shaped as animals. So great. It was much closer to the book. I watched this one after I finished the book.
